Even as a cub, Kaidi is very headstrong - always wanting to do things her own way. While she is often mistaken as selfish by the rest of the pride, in exception for her mother and brother, she is actually well-meaning and compassionate. She just doesn't like to be told what to do. This attitude earns her a ticket to be bullied by some of the other members of her pride, despite the fact that she is the princess. Her brother, Dhihaka is quick to protect her, however, she does want to be able to stand up for herself. But she knows she's just too delicate to be violent. Then she realizes that her weakness can also be her strength.

Whenever someone tries to put her down with words, or tell her to do something she'd rather not do, Kaidi just flashes them her sweetest, wide-eyed, innocent look. Even the most hardened hunters in the pride have their hearts softened by her. The bullying quickly stops, and Kaidi can pretty much get whatever she wants whenever she wants.

When she's old enough, Kaidi's captivating, heart-melting smile virtually has every eligible male gruvling at her feet to be her mate. But Kaidi is picky, and she will only choose who she wants.
